The Puerta de Sevilla gives access to the pleasant neighborhood of San Basilio, in the surroundings of the Alcázar Viejo. It is not as old as it may seem, having been built in the middle of the 20th century, although there was an earlier Muslim gate very close to here.

The Seville Gate is a 14th-century access gate located in the western section of the walls of Córdoba, Spain. It is considered the only one of the three gates that have been preserved in the city, along with the Puerta del Puente and the Puerta de Almodóvar. It is located very close to the San Rafael bridge, at the end of Conde de Vallecano avenue. Despite this, it is believed that its original location in Islamic times would have been closer to the Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos and was known as the Drogueros gate.
