They are part of Paseo de la Victoria, a wide avenue that took its name from an old convent that disappeared in the 19th century. It was the setting where the Nuestra Señora de la Salud fair took place, which is held at the end of May and was moved to the Arenal site. The gardens were tidied up with new plantations, the northern part of which is dedicated to the Duke of Rivas, a writer and politician from Cordoba.
