The meadow between Zellerhorn and Zollernburg, with its mighty old beeches, is a clearing worth seeing at any time of the year. A haven of scenic "quiet" so to speak, along the otherwise rather "wild" Albtrauf. In midsummer in particular, however, when the grass is high and the air shimmers in the heat above the stalks, it is particularly beautiful. Chirping of crickets, the smell of hay, the castle basking in its own beauty against a background blurred in hazy patina.
Absolutely worth visiting.
