Hiking

The Hürstnück nature reserve impresses with its rare heath and dry grassland landscapes, which provide a special habitat for flora and fauna. From here, the view inevitably wanders to the striking highlights of the Eifel: the Hohe Acht, the Nürburg castle ruins and the Nürburgring are clearly visible on the horizon and give the picturesque High Eifel landscape its unmistakable character.

The Hürstnück or Hürsnück nature reserve (the spelling varies) with its rare heath and dry grassland areas is located on a hill between the towns of Reiffescheid and Winnerath.
A breathtaking view leads the viewer's gaze to the most striking mountain ranges of the Hocheifel landscape (source: eifel.info/a-panoramablick-auf-der-huerstnueck).
When the weather is nice, you can even see as far as the Siebengebirge!
