At the entrance to Adenau there is a silver arrow on the roundabout, which was created on the initiative of the Carnival Association for the 90th birthday of the Nürburgring.

At first it was just a vague idea from the then president of KG Rot-Weiß Adenau Eddy Rausch to create something that would permanently have its place on the roundabout at the entrance to the city in order to strengthen the city of Adenau's connection to the legendary and world-famous Nürburgring to express. The idea then became reality and the carnival company's float construction department, led by Arno Förster from Wimbach, began planning and construction. In June 2017, several hundred enthusiastic spectators were able to see for themselves what has become of it in over half a year of construction and around 1,500 hours of volunteer work at the official unveiling of the replica of the Silver Arrow W25 built in 1934.
The project was ultimately realized in cooperation with various Adenau associations and in collaboration with the city of Adenau. With the replica, the car builders made a perfect landing, because exactly 90 years ago the Nürburgring race track was opened with the ADAC Eifel race and the 90th birthday was celebrated this weekend. The Silver Arrow is a symbol of the Adenauers' connection to the Nürburgring.
