The salt house, the Maison du Sel, on the Lauter salt bridge, has a multi-storey roof. Built in the 15th century, it first served as a hospital, later as a salt store and during war as a military hospital.

La Maison du Sel is a remarkable ensemble with its four-story roof. Originally a hospital, this building later served as a salt depot and then a slaughterhouse. The building is private and cannot be visited.
