This neo-Romanesque cruciform basilica, built around 1880, was designed by Joseph Gérard.
The brick building has a built-in southwest tower with a constricted, hexagonal spire. Numerous decorations were applied using bluestone: arch friezes, window frames and the like.
The church is located on an elevation, and is surrounded by a walled cemetery. A high staircase gives access to the church
