The water tower stands very nicely on the former powder magazine in a beautiful and quiet park. Colorful benches invite you to chat. Or you can just take a break there to take in the water tower.
There is still an old centrifugal pump facing the street, near the opening through the wall of the former bastion.

      Glacis City Park - Neu-Ulm
      Kollmannspark
The Kollmannspark, which extends on the other side of the fortress walls and thus between the Glacis and the Turmstraße, can be reached directly from the Glacis Park.
The park was laid out in 1910 around Neu-Ulm's landmark, the water tower. Large, old trees invite you to stroll. Since 1997, the annual family festival has taken place here.
After the Second World War the park became overgrown. From 1994 to 1996, the city renovated the powder magazine on which the water tower was built and redesigned the park.
The park is named after Hofrat Josef Kollmann, who was mayor of Neu-Ulm from 1885 to 1919.
