Have you heard of Circus Lane? Everyone has heard of Princes Street, but believe me this little hidden gem is the real jewel in Edinburgh's urban crown.

Certainly it's not a long, grand walk, but the cobbled street, ivy-framed door-ways, and quirky charm of it's characterful buildings are sure to win you over.

St. Stephen’s Church, at the top end up of Circus Lane has the unusual distinction of being home to Europe’s longest clock pendulum.
