New College is a historic and prestigious part of the University of Edinburgh, located on the Mound, a short walk from Edinburgh Castle. Known for its distinctive Gothic architecture and striking views over Princes Street Gardens, New College houses the university’s School of Divinity, which has a long tradition of theological study and religious scholarship. Founded in 1846, the college was originally established as a center for training ministers of the Church of Scotland.
