It will please many former residents and residents of the Polder that the Oosterweel church will be removed from the sand that surrounds it in the foreseeable future. As a result of the construction of a road junction of the Oosterweel connection, a lot of that sprayed-on stuff is removed. From the Scheldelaan and the Kastelweg, the view of the 15th century church is greatly improved.
