Veltwijck Castle is a renaissance-style moated castle from the 16th century. It is built in brick with white sandstone bands. The stepped gables, the turrets and the remarkable access bridge give it a picturesque view. The castle was purchased by the municipality of Ekeren in 1929 and furnished as a town hall.
