Dolní Žleb is the northernmost municipality in Bohemia, located on the left bank of the Elbe River. Today, the village is a resort and an important base for mountaineers. A button factory dating back to 1774 stood here, the remains of which can still be seen today. At the center of the municipality stands the Church of the New Cross, dating from 1747 and later converted into a Baroque building.
