A special feature is the baroque pulpit made in Weil der Stadt around 1783, as well as the baptistery with ribbed vaulting. During the Thirty Years' War the church burned down almost completely and was rebuilt in 1661.

The church with garden and rectory form the old village center of Schafhausen. Beautiful historic buildings. Unfortunately, the church could not be viewed from the inside.
