In 1960, the Martin Luther Church and the associated parish hall were inaugurated. Because the Martin Luther congregation grew rapidly in the 1970s, the community center at Murkenbachweg 34 was built for the Tannenberg area, which had to be expanded just a few years later and was closed in 2019.

In the years 1959/1960 the Martin Luther Church was built with an associated parish hall. The church was conceived as a functional, architecturally simple space. The church building has a free-standing bell tower with a height of approx. 33m in the style of an Italian campanile.
