The Forest Experience Center WEZ Sindelfingen, a sustainable and always up-to-date educational platform on the subject of forest, nature, ecology and the renewable raw material wood. The starting point for children, young people, young families and adults is the information pavilion at the Forsthof. Inside the pavilion, current and changing information about the forest and nature is displayed on 12 boards, which arouse interest and report on the services of the city forest.

This is also where the tour of the 2.1 km nature trail starts. In order to achieve sustainable learning success, it is important to experience nature. There are a variety of visual objects available around the Forsthof: Insects and their benefits for nature and the environment are presented in the insect hotel. In the bird observation house, the bird life of the forest can be observed through targeted year-round feeding. Bird nesting aids are used to observe the breeding of birds and to provide information about possible nesting aids. The large wet biotope at the Forsthof is fed by the roof areas of the forest buildings, which means it carries water all year round and illustrates the aquatic flora and fauna. At the end of an eventful observation of nature, there is a large barbecue and playground at the Forsthof.
