Grüffelo Trail

Since May 2022, Weinheim has had a new landmark: the Gruffalo Trail. The trail is around 600m long, starts at the corner of Am Schlossberg / Neuer Burgweg and runs uphill along the Burgweg towards Windeck. Here you will meet a mouse, fox, squirrel, owl, snake, the Gruffalo child and the Gruffalo. There is an explanatory panel and a puzzle to solve for each figure. Further information about the trail, the city or the Gruffalo books can be accessed via a QR code. The actual way up to the Windeck castle ruins is not really spectacular, but the newly created and lovingly designed Gruffalo figures make it an experience, at least for children (and the young at heart). A round of the castle park and Weinheim's old town round off the experience, no matter what the season!
