Over hill and dale. In the rock garden. The Irndorfer Felsengarten was created in 1997 and 1998 with the support of the Upper Danube Nature Park and the Botanical Gardens of the University of Tübingen. The layout of this garden in the immediate vicinity of the Eichfelsen should give visitors the opportunity to get to know the different and varied forms of rock vegetation without having to step on the sensitive plant cover. The rock garden would like to draw the attention of visitors to the Danube valley to the beauty and diversity, but also to the need for protection and endangerment of the rock plants.
