The monument, which was located in the Torgau Glacis (city park) between Wolffersdorffstraße and Elbradweg, probably no longer exists. A plaque at this point commemorates Karl Friedrich von Wolffersdorff, a Prussian lieutenant general who had been in the service of the Electorate of Saxony since 1733, rose to the rank of lieutenant colonel and took part in the Seven Years' War. Karl Friedrich von Wolffersdorff was a man of spirit and life, friendly and generous, cunning and mischievous. In 1759 the Lunette III of the then Torgau Fortress received its name
