Herz Jesu Chapel on Kalvarienberg

The chapel "Herz Jesu" on the Calvary near Ebnath was built in 1875. The Way of the Cross was created in 1967. On the south side of the chapel there are two granite slabs with the text of the Fichtelgebirge song "I've wandered far around". It was written by Spiritual Counselor Josef Hupfer. The plaques donated in 1995 by the Ebnath local group of the Fichtelgebirge Association are intended to commemorate him.

Below the chapel is a small grotto. Unfortunately the church is closed. At the Stations of the Cross, the images were torn out. Only the bare stones are left.
