The neo-Gothic basilica "Holy Cross Church" in Aachen was built between 1898 and 1902. Before her stood a church from the 14th century, which was demolished in 1683 and had to give way to a baroque new building. This in turn was demolished again in 1897.
The current church was destroyed in World War II in 1944 and rebuilt in 1951.

I live 100 meters from this church. I love that the tower chimes the time every 15 minutes.
