Hiking

The path is called NOVEMBER (firebreak). The Sandbach springs not far from here in LICHTENBRUCH. On the airport side is the SANDBACH HEATH. Opposite is the forest area "Auf der Maar" (the name derives from a swamp), the airport's cross wind tunnel and the legendary "HERFELD". It was the scene of many battles during the Thirty Years' War and a meeting place of the surrounding villages.
