Glacis City Park - Neu-Ulm

The Glacis city park is just a few minutes' walk from the train station. Take a little break from everyday life and go for a walk along the "Forellenbächle". The adventure playground at the Römervilla is very popular with families with children. While the children have fun climbing and sliding, parents can strengthen themselves in the beer garden. In the eastern part of the glacis facilities, a large playground with climbing towers and a long slide completes the range of games.
In the summer months, the covered event stage invites you to concerts, theater performances and readings. The Glacis Park was created in 1980 in the course of the State Horticultural Show Ulm/Neu-Ulm from the western part of the former federal fortress. "Glacis" is a French term from fortress architecture for a mound of earth in front of a ditch.
