The "Zunfthaus der Schiffleute" in Ulm, Fischergasse 31, was built in the 15th century at the lowest point of the quarter "under the fishermen". It was located directly on the so-called "Gumpen", a small port within the built in 1480 city wall on the Danube opposite the later (1843) canceled "inlet tower". In this tower was until the beginning of the 19th century, the only well-guarded access to the city after the evening closing of the gates. Here each had an Ulm shipbuilder his "official residence".

The "guild house of the shipmen" in Ulm, Fischergasse 31, was built in the 15th century at the lowest point of the quarter "among the fishermen". It was located directly on the so-called "Gumpen", a small harbor within the city wall on the Danube, which was built in 1480, opposite the "inlet tower" which was later demolished (1843). Until the beginning of the 19th century, this tower was the only well-guarded access to the city after the gates were closed in the evening. An Ulm shipman had his "official residence" here.
