Hiking

The Coronation Trail begins in Bonn at the main station, leads over the Venusberg, runs through the Kottenforst, crosses the Swistbach plain, leads through the Rheinbach city forest to the Steinbach dam. It runs through the Mechenich Voreifel and further to the Kermeter, the heart of the Eifel National Park. The hiking trail leads along the northern edge of the Rur dam, through the Huschelbach valley to the Kall valley and through the Hürtgen forest and finally through the Münsterland to the imperial city of Aachen.
