Hiking
A small stream flows into the rest area and flows in a narrow valley between rocks
down into the Rur.
The hiking trail is a bit slippery.
It is wonderfully cool there in summer!

This bench by the Rur River is a truly special place to linger. Located right on the water's edge, it invites you to take a break and simply enjoy the tranquil atmosphere. The gentle murmur and ripple of the Rur is incredibly calming and makes this the perfect spot to unwind.
This spot is also ideal for furry friends: The water is very shallow, allowing dogs to cool off easily and safely.
A beautiful spot with a fantastic view of the Rur – perfect for a relaxing break during your hike. 🐾💧🌿
