Bike Touring Highlight
first mentioned in 1655 as an oil mill. The mill was on the left side of the Schwalm, so at that time it was at home in the money area. Despite this location, the miller had to pay twelve albus (coin) and two pounds of yellow wax to Jülich because he used half the electricity, which means Jülich’s drive water. So you can read it in the stock book of the Rentmeisterei Brüggen from 1725/26. There was also a border crossing at the mill.
