Herman Bisschop | The Fisherman's Wife
The bronze statue was placed on the Nieuwendijk in 1986 and made by visual artist Herman Bisschop (Aardenburg). Relocation 2005 – location Groene Boulevard sea side.

This statue had the original name 'the Bride', but was changed during the manufacturing process to 'the Fisherman's Woman' and was originally on the Nieuwendijk near the Vissershaven and was placed in October 2005 at its current location on the so-called 'green boulevard'. .
