Historic Pump House and Water Wheel of Siegritz

A testimony to the fact that until the end of the 19th century the people living on the plateau had to get their daily water needs from sources or streams from the valley or halfway up. Still today names like Brunnsteig, Quellweg etc. remind of the tedious and restrictive times, which changed only with the beginning of the industrial registration. The water was mechanically pumped with the kinetic energy of the water before the advent of electricity; here by means of an upper water wheel, in the Leidingsfelder valley next door with the "Aries" principle.

Small millwheel that spins splashing around, the house is part of the wonderful river valley and fits in with the whole idyll there.
