The Molen van Lombok is located on the river Jeker south of Maastricht in the Sint Pieter district. The mill is a mid-stroke mill and is located on the left bank of the river and used to consist of two mill buildings. The front mill was used as a grain mill until 1850, the rear one was an oil mill. Only from the front is the cast iron grinding chair with the iron mill wheel from 1937 still on top. That is why today only this building is referred to as the Mill of Lombok. Opposite is a third water mill: the Mill of Dollaert.
The mill wheel has a diameter of 4.96 m and a width of 0.88 m. The mill buildings are made of marl stone, partly with so-called bacon layers of natural stone alternated with a marl band.
