Tips
The tower of the Lords of Hospental is the most striking building in Hospental. Thanks to its elevated position, the tower is clearly visible from different directions and thus characterizes the landscape of the Ursern Valley.Due to the dating of the wood in the masonry, the tower's year of construction is assumed to be in the 13th century. It is known that the tower served as a residential tower for a long time, but has not been inhabited since the 15th century. The ruins are well preserved and the moat in the form of a slight hollow can still be seen on the west side.
