We were on the Rhine cycle path from Andermatt to Karlsruhe. This of course also includes the hike to the official source of the Rhine, the "Lai Da Tuma". A small high mountain lake that collects the water from many springs. From the lake, the mountain stream is called "Vorderhein". At Reichenau in Switzerland the front and rear Rhine finally flow together and from here the Rhine is finally called the RHEIN. It was very nice to have stood at the source of this great river

The route from the Oberalp Pass via the Pazolastock to the source of the Rhine is currently easy to walk on. We went the way today! Very nice. Approx. 11km and 740hm up and down. There are still a few snow fields above. But are easy to go! Went with a big dog. It was really great.
