The area was restored to its state in 1790.
Meadow meadows and lakes were reinstated, the water level was raised by installing oak piles, trees and shrubs were planted, watercourses were cleared of culverts, and ponds for amphibians were created. Today, the approximately 100-hectare area is home to, among other species, white-tailed eagles, cranes, ducks, kingfishers, swans, cormorants, and geese.
