The Krummsee has an area of 0.12 km² and a maximum depth of 11.5 m. It is nestled in a forest area near the village of the same name, Krummsee, which belongs to the municipality of Malente.
The bathing place is not here, but a little further on the north shore of Lake Krummsee.
The water of the lake is mostly of very good quality and a small forest swimming area on the lake invites you to swim in summer.
