A very nice park, neatly laid out, "too laid out" for me, doesn't really have any atmosphere, benches are more in the sun. To sit and linger, I prefer the large castle park with beer garden, it's somehow more comfortable, more spacious.

Hiking

Fechenbach Castle, including the park, was owned by three noble families in succession. The last line was the Barons von Fechenbach zu Dieburg from 1842 to 1939. The park was expanded through purchases by the von Fechenbach family and became an even more representative park. After it became municipal property, the park was opened to the public, thus becoming another recreational area in the immediate vicinity of the market square.
