Fountain in Schlossgarten Dieburg

On the edge of the center of Dieburg lies the castle garden. Various counts and barons have resided in Dieburg and created, among other things, the castle garden. The park today covers about 4.5 hectares, historical records say that in the 18th century the park was about 25 acres. The Lindenallee is already drawn on plans from 1740, a few years ago, the trees standing there were replaced by new small linden trees. Formerly the avenue was also called Schepp Allee, because the trees were all inclined to the avenue. There are also several ponds with small fountains of water, one called Trapeze Pond due to its shape.
Numerous tree species can be found here, information boards provide information about the different tree species.
The park is especially popular with amorous young couples in the summer.
In the castle garden is also the Dieburg Festplatz, where every year the castle garden festival takes place.

From the beginning of May to the end of August, the Kaffee-Äffchen beer garden is open with great delicacies.
