Monumental observation tower made of Palatinate red sandstone, which was built in 1902 in honor of Chancellor Otto von Bismarck. During the opening hours, you can climb up to the tower and enjoy a fantastic view of the Palatinate Forest and the Rhine valley from the platform.

    Opening hours:
    April to October:
Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday & public holidays 10am to 6pm

    November to March:
    Sunday 10am to 6pm

Very nice old tower in the middle of the Palatinate. The tower has a kiosk. Climbing the tower is also possible, if one observes the opening times.

36 meter high Buntsandstein tower on the Peterskopf. Very impressive building, incidentally with a great view. Ascent is charged. Downstairs is a small kiosk with outdoor seating.

Very nicely located tower, which had opened with us already in October only on few days. (Food in the Lindenmannsruhe leaves a lot to be desired.) We would call it a snack bar with seating, impersonal and bad value for money, we would not visit again.)

Really impressive tower. Due to the easy accessibility e.g. Lindemannsruhe is on good summer or autumn days, something good going on.

A memorial tower with magnificent views and nice, small restaurants. The climb costs € 1 for adults, € 0.50 for children (as of 2018) and is well worth it. Is easy to walk in (compared to many churches in which I have ever turned back).

The tower is not always accessible (opening hours note) but also if it is closed is worth seeing. Benches invite you to rest and linger. Here also cross different hiking trails.

Beautiful Bismarck tower, the climb rewarded for € 1.50 with a panoramic view of the Black Forest and the ODENWALD. The Bismarck tower is a 36 m high observation tower on the 493 m high Peterskopf. He is well maintained and maintained by the Drachenfels Club.

The Bismarck tower is a 36 m high observation tower on the 493.5 m above sea level. NHN high Peterskopf in the Haardt mountain range on the eastern edge of the Palatinate Forest (Rhineland-Palatinate). He stands on an exclave of the local church Kallstadt and is called because of the proximity of the county town Bad Dürkheim also as Bismarckturm Bad Dürkheim.

The Lindemannsruhe with the Bismarkturm is just as popular with families as it is with the freeride and downhill scene, which gladly uses the steeply sloping paths rugged by the rock. Even in winter, the area is relatively snow-sure and is therefore populated on the weekends with sledding kids.
