The view from Heidenfels is only moderate because it is overgrown. Nevertheless, the blocks are very impressive. Anyone who gets there should look for the stone steps and walk around them and through the two “rock tunnels” – there is a lot to discover.

To get to the open rock chamber / grotto with a stone resting table (with the year 1874): Take the stone steps down to the right of the observation bench (on the rock plateau): Then you come up to the left of the observation bench again up the (steeper) steps.

An absolute highlight - the rock formations, the stone table, the grotto - and since not everyone can find the stairs down, it wasn't overcrowded at all
