The Laura hut is a great place for a break during the hike.
In front of the hut there are several wooden benches and a few meters below a stone bench that looks like a rock from behind. Through a swath in the forest you have a great view over to the Odenwald when the weather is nice. :-)

The Laurahütte was built in 1845 by Wilhelm Retzer, district judge from Freinsheim, as a hunting and shelter hut above Leistadt at an altitude of 370 meters in his private forest in red sandstone. The hut was named in honor of his wife Laura. Seats and a beautiful view of the Rhine plain.
