Hiking above Bad Dürkheim is excellent. Beautiful and varied paths as well as various highlights such as Teufelsstein, Bismarck Tower, Kriemhildenstuhl and Celtic stone ring make the paths extremely exciting. Not to forget the numerous wonderful views. Clear recommendation.

The Limburg monastery (formerly the "Zum Heilgen Kreuz" monastery or Limburg an der Haardt monastery, after the collapse often also the Limburg monastery ruins) is a former Benedictine abbey that existed from the 11th century to the Reformation. The complex, built in the Romanesque style, is located on the eastern edge of the Palatinate Forest in the district of the Rhineland-Palatinate district town of Bad Dürkheim and has been a ruin for a long time.
