Very nice area with many great paths for cycling or hiking. The Elbe ferry (Lenzen-Pevestorf) also gives you the opportunity to cross the Elbe.

If you want to get to know the typical landscape of the Prignitz, you should get on the saddle and cycle through the Lenzerwische. "Lenzerwische" is the name of the landscape between the Elbe and the mouth of the Eldem.
In Lenzen, the castle museum and the tour get you in the mood. Up on the Elbe dike, you cycle past the Lower Saxony houses of the typical Wischedörfer. Right through the Wische it goes to the Löcknitz, on which the artist village of Breetz is located. On the way back, the bike path is lined with a dense avenue.
