BODAN-PLATZ

The heart of the Bodan area is Bodan-Platz, together with Hall 1. It serves as both a representative entrance area to the shipyard halls and the restaurants, as well as a place to stay. Bodan-Platz - like the promenade - has Bavarian granite or natural stone paving. In the middle of Bodan-Platz there is a water basin with water features, which are illuminated at night by colored LED lighting.

The residents particularly wanted Bodan-Platz to have many trees that provide shade. The decision was therefore made to use plane trees, which not only provide shade for the square today, but also, in combination with the water basin, make it a green oasis on the site.
