Constance, very nice city. Ideal for the start of the Bodensee tour. From the bridge you have a warm view of the Rhine.

Very nice view of the Rhine. Here in Winterersteig many beer gardens invite you to linger. From here start the tour, to Switzerland, there are only a few kilometers.

The Seerhein is a river about four kilometers long in the Lake Constance basin. It is the outflow of the Obersee and the main tributary of the Untersee. The difference between the water levels of both lakes is exactly 20 cm in the long-term mean of the annual mean, in the long-term mean of the monthly mean between 16 and 27 cm.[1]
The Seerhein is a river section of the Rhine, which flows into the Obersee as the Alpenrhein and leaves the Untersee as the Hochrhein. The Swiss-German state border runs partly through its middle, the largest municipality on its banks is Konstanz. Its easternmost point also marks the beginning (km 0.0) of the kilometer marking of the Rhine.
