The Park of the Seasons is part of the Kurpark, the basic structure of which was laid out in 1906. With approx. 7 hectares, the park is the largest contiguous green area in Bad Hersfeld and part of the spa facilities. The spa industry in Hersfeld only began in the 20th century. In 1904 the buried Lullus spring was opened up again. In 1949 the Vitalis fountain was added by drilling. In the same year, the city was also named the spa town of Bad Hersfeld.
