This is a great view spot of the whole section of coast. It is elevated and gives wonderful panoramic views of the area and Newland Island. It is about a two hour round trip from Polzeath and on a clear day is well worth the effort.

From Pentire Point, you are afforded spectacular views over Padstow Bay to the south and west. Between Pentire Point and The Rumps, several outcrops of pillow lava are visible beside the coast path.
