Port Isaac is a picturesque fishing village that has thrived since the 14th century. Its narrow and winding streets — lined with old white-washed cottages and traditional granite and slate Cornish houses — are wonderful to explore. In fact, Port Isaac is famous for having one of the narrowest alleyways in Britain, Squeezy Belly Alley.

Quaint little fishing village. It is a bit off the beaten track, but quintessentially Cornish.

Port Isaac is a picturesque, traditional and vibrant fishing village located on the South West Coast Path in north Cornwall. The village comprises narrow winding streets lined with photogenic cottages and shops that lead down to a delightful harbour and beach. It makes a fine stopping point on any long-distance walk or hike. Port Isaac is often used as a set for TV and film, most notably for the British TV series ‘Doc Martin’.
