You should be aware that this path is getting more impassable from year to year and will probably disappear completely at some point. The old path along the Wildenstein stream is no longer officially maintained. But for me it is one of the highlights. If you are not put off by fallen trees and partially washed away paths, you will experience a wildly romantic climb to the Wildenstein ruins.
