In beautiful spring weather a very varied hike to the castles of the Leininger! You haven't subscribed to me yet? Then it goes this way: bit.ly/2IqkgIkOn this wonderful day, I start my hike in Neuleinigen.
Quite flat it goes over some beautiful paths and then over open landscape to the ancestral castle of the Leininger - Altleiningen Castle.Past the 20-tube fountain, the path leads up to the Kamelfels and on to the Jägerkreuz.Unfortunately, Battenberg Castle is closed due to the corona, so the path continues towards Neuleiningen. One last steep ascent leads me to Neuleiningen Castle and back to my starting point.Distance: 23 km
Difference in altitude: 490 m in the ascentYou can also find the hike here:

Today I'm in Rheinhessen - on a hike in the UNESCO World Heritage Upper Middle Rhine Valley! You haven't subscribed to me yet? Then it goes this way: bit.ly/2IqkgIkIf I was able to inspire you to go on a hike, I am always happy to receive a message - or to mention my channel!I start at the Forsthaus Heiligkreuz on a direct route to several wonderful viewpoints on the flood-leading Rhine.Over a light blanket of snow and partly very slippery paths I reach the medieval Rheinstein Castle and not far from there I catch a glimpse of Reichenstein Castle.A breakneck descent leads me down into the Morgenbach valley. Hike back up the valley along raging floods, many small waterfalls and rocks and reach a quiet, beautiful winter forest. Small brooks chuckle everywhere, all of which reach the great father Rhine.I reach the lovingly designed Steckeschäferklamm and cross it over numerous bridges. The path now leads me through an open landscape to a relic of the Romans - the remarkable remains of a Villa Rustica.I reach my starting point again over a rather slippery suspension bridge (unfortunately not in the film).A very varied and promising premium hike that is definitely very pleasant to hike in summer.Distance: 16km
Ascent: 520hmYou can also find the hike here:

A wonderful winter hike around the Weinbiet near Neustadt an der Weinstrasse! You haven't subscribed to me yet? Then it goes this way: bit.ly/2IqkgIkThere was fresh snow overnight instead of the popular rainy weather! The best conditions for a hike through fresh snow and lonely forests!I start in Neustadt an der Weinstrasse and reach the Scheffelwarte with a beautiful view of the city lying in the haze. Not far from the Bismarkstein testifies to the past veneration of the founder of the empire. After a steep ascent I reach the Bergstein and look down to the Rhine plain and the Wolfsburg castle ruins. From here I hike over beautiful, narrow paths in the direction of the Wolfsburg ruins - but I decide not to visit because of the large number of visitors. On quite lonely paths with a beautiful view of Lambrecht lying in the fog and over untouched snow, it always goes along the slope. On the opposite side of the Weinbiet I reach rather well-frequented paths via narrow and wild paths and descend to the impressive Wolf'schen facilities and the Clemm'schen Bergpark. The former beauty of the facilities from the 19th century can only be guessed at.A nice hike - especially or because of the weather.
Whether it would be so beautiful in different weather conditions - find out!Distance: 17km
Difference in altitude: 430m in the ascentIf I was able to inspire you to go on a hike, I am always happy to receive a message - or even to mention my channel!

A winter hike to historical sights and through fairytale forests! You haven't subscribed to me yet? Then it goes this way: bit.ly/2IqkgIkToday I start my hike in the castle valley near Wachenheim on the southern wine route.
I climb steeply uphill and reach the Heidenlöcher.
The Heidenlöcher are the remains of a fortress from the 9th or 10th century. After another ascent through snow-covered winter forest, I reach the Pfannenstein - the oldest boundary stone in the Palatinate. At the next corner head tower I don't stay long and descend directly via a narrow path, cross the Wachenheimer Bach and climb up again.Shortly before the White Stone I turn onto a wide but beautiful forest path and walk comfortably and evenly towards Wachenheim.I walk along the slope over the wild Konrad path and reach the Hexenstein. After a short rest, I descend into the valley and reach my starting point again.

A hike past mighty rocks and along historical traces of forestry in the Palatinate Forest! You haven't subscribed to me yet? Then it goes this way: bit.ly/2IqkgIkI start my tour in Lviv and initially walk along the Rothenberg.
I reach the mighty rock overhang of the Schnapphahneck and wonder a bit about the rather neglected camp of self-proclaimed "nature boys".After a short break at the Stephanshäuschen, I reach the Grafenfels.
I refrain from ascent - with the thick fog there is no prospect. Not far I reach the Fleckstein with its huge rock overhangs. After a descent, I reach the Storrbachtal with its historic timber transport facilities. After one last ascent, I get back to my starting point at the sports field in Lviv.
