With a length of almost one and a half kilometers, much of the medieval city wall has been preserved from Prenzlau to the present day. In addition to the impressive city gates, you will find the small, inconspicuous water gate at this point. The small passage down to the lakeshore was inserted into the existing city wall only in the 15th century.
