Carolinenturm on Kötsch

The 26-meter-high structure was built in 1909 and is visible from afar. The Carolinenturm and its surroundings are preserved, maintained, and perfected by the non-profit association Kötschberggemeinde e.V. (Kötschberg Community). 106 steps lead up to the platform.Opening hours: Summer season from April to September, every Sunday and public holiday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The Carolinenturm is a 26 m high observation tower that was built in 1909 in honor of the Grand Duchess Caroline of Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach, who died young.
